WE ARE AN ASSOCIATION OF ANALYSTS AND ANALYTICS WORKING IN A SCHOOL, GROWING FROM JACQUES LACAN'S DESIRE.

For 15 years, we have been continuously caring for the mental condition of Poles, developing, and promoting Lacanian psychoanalysis, asking questions about the ethics of our profession, and looking for answers to the challenges facing modern man.

We are always on the subject's side, not on the side of the ego, This or the Other. We are the third ear and the voice of the unconscious in the public debate. To her, we owe a word that does not belong to us and which, addressed to the Other, requires interpretation.

We are an independent and anti-totalitarian non-profit organization financed entirely by the contributions and work of our members and voluntary external contributions. We allocate the entire surplus [plus-de-jouir] to the statutory goals of the School.

We carry out all tasks with our resources, from clinical activity, through scientific and educational work, to guarantees present in passe. We speak openly about our activities, including our analyses, respecting the unconscious as the main spring of our Members' desires.

As Freud would say, psychoanalysis teaches two things: to love and to work - lieben und arbeiten. In this concept, theory and practice remain inseparable. Practice enriches theory; theory shapes practice.

Passe is the response of Lacanian psychoanalysis to the ideology of evaluation and the accompanying legislative initiatives that subordinate the training of specialists in the protection of "mental health" to a quantitative criterion—the same for everyone and thus avoiding the dimension of the subject.

The noble goal of equality and transparency conceals a quantifiable, market-driven education model. This aligns with the state's system of redistributing goods and perpetuates a constant tendency towards totalization and control mechanisms, which we oppose.

 

The library is a place where we gather works that express the spontaneous and School-stimulated activities of its members, but not only that. Its primary purpose is to present an understanding of psychoanalysis to those who experience it. We hope that it will contribute to subverting our scripts and that the meetings in the library will lead from the moment of seeing to the moment of understanding. And beyond.
